Da quando ho iniziato a fare questo lavoro ho sempre utilizzato l’agenda. In molti si chiederanno cosa abbia da scrivere una fotografa di matrimoni. Forse vi stupirò dicendo, un’infinità di cose. Pensate solo che nell’anno corrente noi già lavoriamo per quello successivo e ancora stiamo lavorando su quello precedente.
Ad ogni modo, uso l’agenda! O meglio, dovrei dire usavo. Si, perchè da circa 6 mesi l’ho riposta in un cassetto a prendere polvere. Il perchè di questa scelta? Beh, non è stata una scelta. Sono spesso in viaggio e mi serviva spazio nello zaino che era diventato anche troppo pesante. Inoltre spesso pensavo di dover appuntare qualcosa ma non l’avevo con me. E indovinate quale ho pensato potesse essere il degno sostituto? L’agenda di google. E fu così che ho iniziato a dimenticare.
Dimenticare orari, appuntamenti, cose da comprare, pacchi da spedire, foto da inviare, sposi da chiamare… Se da un lato con l’introduzione di Trello (di cui prima o poi vi parlerò) che mi lega al cellulare e al computer, il mio workflow ha preso una rincorsa, dall’altro le mie attività quotidiane si sono rallentate con l’uso dell’agenda digitale.
What was my problem with the digital agenda? Most of the time I opened my phone thinking I was reading the "to do list" and ended up jumping from one app to another without doing anything. Someone may be wondering why I didn't use sound notifications. Right observation. I have often forgotten that I have set an alarm and found myself in places where I never wanted my cell phone to ring.
And here I found myself at the crossroads “agenda yes? agenda no? ". And agenda be! I went to Tiger like every year and I chose a small, light, very comfortable and economical diary. Bottle green, plastic cover, which does not get dirty, with the aspiral that allows me to fold the pages, the division into months clearly visible and a large calendar.
I resumed my routine. Every morning I sit at my desk and together with a good coffee I update the "to do list". Sure I can't forget anything, I start my day.
And so here I am indicating valid reasons for choosing the paper diary:
-For the simplicity and the contact of the pen with the paper;
- Why can't download or ask for a better network connection;
- Memorize information better by writing it;
- Your agenda, it's you! It reflects your personality, your way of writing your ideas or organizing your time;
- The paper diary itself is a ritual. From school desks, the purchase of an agenda means the beginning of a new year and new projects.
