Organize a wedding. Dilemma that grips all spouses!

Before telling you how to organize a wedding and its timing, I would like to suggest the best solution to all problems: hire a wedding planner.

It is worth investing in a professional who takes care of calculating the perfect times for you, who relieves you of many thoughts and worries and who plans the wedding tailor-made for you, but above all who is ready to face any unforeseen event.

However, there are cases in which the spouses decide to go it alone and ask me how to organize the timing of their wedding. I use a very simple method, based on a backward calculation and on the division of the wedding into 5 parts (preparation, ritual, couple session, ceremony and party). The rite is the starting point for calculating the time of the couple session, the ceremony and consequently the party. In addition, the starting time of the preparation is calculated from the ritual.

Let's begin! We will then start by setting the time of the CEREMONY.

Taking into account that the months with the longest days are from May to August, you can easily plan the afternoon ritual in these months. The late afternoon certainly guarantees the best temperatures, which avoid excessive heat. Except for the month of September when the hours of light begin to decrease, so the ideal is a ritual in the early afternoon.

Once the time of the rite has been set, let's think about the COUPLES SESSION.

Gogglate “sunset time + place and date of the wedding”. You will have the precise time of the "golden hour" when the sun will begin to set, giving you warm and magical colors. In short, the most beautiful time, the one in which you get the best shots. In fact, at that time you will probably be by the sea or walking in a field, with your hair and face golden from the sun, embraced to exchange the first pampering and considerations as a husband and wife.

Once the couple shooting session is over, the following phases, then CEREMONY and PARTY, will be a simple succession of events that you will just have to enjoy and for which you do not need to calculate the times. It is a task reserved for the structure you rely on. They will tell you the times required for the service and the deadline for the party. The only thing I would like to suggest is to carefully evaluate the lighting of the place reserved for dinner and party. It will allow you to avoid that guests eat in the dark or that during the dances the photos are penalized by poor lighting.

As I said at the beginning, in my method of calculating times I divide marriage into two blocks. I hope the first part was clear enough. Now I'll explain the last part of this organization. Always starting from the rite calculation the starting time of the PREPARATION.

First of all, calculate the time taken from the place of preparation to reach the location or church and from there to the ceremony. Keep in mind that that day you will experience many emotions, in clothes and shoes that are often not too comfortable and at high temperatures, so the less trips you make, the better. This time will be useful for calculating the time when make-up artists and hairstylists should start preparing the bride. Calculate the start time of preparation about 4 hours before departure to reach the place of the rite. You will have to be the last to be made up and combed.
