Belvedere Carafa was the perfect location for Lena and Adriano's wedding. Elegant and sophisticated, perfectly in keeping with the couple who wanted an eighteenth-century setting for their big day.
Belvedere Carafa
Belvedere Carafa is a historic villa located on the Vomero hill, in Naples. From above, the villa dominates the whole hill and in front opens onto the sea of Mergellina, facing the island of Capri. The interior salons are a true magnificence. Frescoed by master Luca Giordano, who created two splendid paintings with mythological scenes. Owned by Prince Belvedere, the villa turns out to be the desire of those who want to take a step back in time, returning to the 18th century. Walking along the halls of the villa is like walking into a museum and being enchanted by the immensity of its frescoes.
Lena originally from Forlì and Neapolitan Adriano doc, choose Milan as their city of residence. City that hosted us for their engagement session (you can find it here), walking through the streets of Brera and visiting the Pinacoteca.
Lena and Adriano are the perfect couple for a wedding at Belvedere Carafa. The delicate and elegant bride showed off the first dress for the church rite perfectly in its strings. To then surprise everyone with an effective change of dress. Short and 50's for wild dances to the sound of Rock.
What I loved about this work were the photographs taken in the church. If I had had to give it a title it would have been: “all that happens behind the spouses”. We immediately noticed many children present at the ceremony, and we know children do not pay much attention to the rules nor to religious silence. The wonderful thing was being able to see what they did behind the spouses celebrating their vows. I have a soft spot for children at weddings. As soon as I get to the church it's the first thing he looks at. They always deliver sensational images.
